Yggdrasil, a leading iGaming publisher, has boosted its portfolio of YGG Masters partners with the addition of innovative studio Hungrybear.
Through the YGG Masters program, Hungrybear will create the first real-money gaming version of multiplayer slot sensation Slot Masters with Yggdrasil as the exclusive distributor of the content.
Hungrybear is a UK and Canada-based game design and development studio and the creator of the popular free-to-play tournament mechanic that has helped operators drive customer loyalty and engagement.
Slot Masters enables a player to get matched with two other users and then engage in a two-minute game to collect points to win free spins by strategically deploying a selection of attack and defensive weapons.
Free spin prizes will be replaced with progressive cash wins in the upcoming real-money iteration.
The first YGG Masters title from Hungrybear is expected to be rolled out in July and will be a slot accompanied by a free-to-play Slot Masters version to help promote the game.
The new partnership further enhances Yggdrasil’s dynamic offering of third-party content with the YGG Masters program, empowering the world’s leading independent game studios to design and distribute great titles via the provider’s technology and network.
The initiative has seen the creation of some of Yggdrasil’s best-performing titles over the last few years, with partners also able to utilise the provider’s popular Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs).
