Happy 22nd anniversary for tomorrow, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers! It is hard to believe the second installment of Peter Jackson's iconic adaption is over two decades old as it seems as much of a timeless classic as ever, in part due to all of the memes it inspires. Few war movies are ever going to outdo The Battle of Helm's Deep, and with good reason.
Even if we didn't have the excuse of an important birthday coming up, we couldn't help but indulge in yet more LOTR memes. There are just too many wannabe nasty little hobbitses on the internet who can't help but keep on making their ode to the classic works of Tolkien through the medium of silly internet humor. This is just as well, because we need more stuff to put on this list every week. Each image macro only makes the lore of Middle-earth richer.
