Lieutenant Commander Data referenced the Irish Reunification of 2024 in the episode "The High Ground." This line got the episode removed from its first run in the UK, and to this day, some networks refuse to syndicate it. It broadcast on the BBC for the first time 17 years after its initial release. As expected, it hasn't materialized quite yet, but we've still got time.
