During the Pokemon Presents showcase that just aired, The Pokemon Company had two major game announcements and some updates. The game announcements include one mobile title due this year and one new Switch game due 2025. I’m glad the next console game in the series from Game Freak is a new Legends game because the previous one was a lot better than expected. Pokemon Legends: Z-A launches next year for Nintendo Switch. Shaun will cover more about this, so I will focus on the mobile news. Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, due this year for iOS and Android, is an evolution of the Pokemon Trading Card Game franchise in the form of a new app to collect TCG cards. There will be immersive cards letting you get into the card’s art as well. Watch the trailer for the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket below:Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is being developed in collaboration with Creatures Inc, the creators of the Pokemon TCG, and DeNA. It will be a free to start game on iOS and Android with more news coming soon. All players will get two booster packs for free daily, and Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will include new cards only available in this app. Barring those two announcements, Pokemon Unite (Free) and other games including Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon Masters EX, and Pokemon Café ReMix will see in-game events and updates with Unite getting a new license and other celebrations. If you’d like to play Pokemon Unite on mobile, download it on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. It is available on Nintendo Switch here. What do you think of Pokemon Presents 2024?
