We believe in all sorts of things that aren't necessarily real. We believe that that large scoop of ice cream won't soon make our tummies hurt. We believe that we're going to cook all of that Swiss chard that we just bought and that most of it won't just rot in our fridge drawers, uneaten. We believe that we'll wake up early tomorrow and get it done before work. We believe that they didn't text us back because they were busy. We believe that eating two slices of pizza stacked on top of each other counts as one slice because, as Fran Fine said, "the body doesn't know."
On some subconscious level, we know all of this to be lies, but they're too convenient not to believe. But there are some real things that we should believe. Here at Memebase, we believe in memes. Because memes are worth believing in.
