Summer camp is a treasured experience for thousands of children. While some kids are slumming it at day camps, others get to live in the woods away from their parents for weeks on end. In my experience, the latter are the ones who are the most attached to their camp experiences. Don't get me wrong, I loved my five years of month-long musical theatre camp, but after I turned 15, I was more than willing to leave it behind. Sleepaway camp kids are sleepaway camp kids for life.
