When designs fail, we have no one to blame but ourselves. After all, we're the ones who got ourselves into this situation. We created houses for ourselves to live in, products for us to consume, and signs to tell us where we're going and what's going to be there. So when something goes wrong with those, who do we blame? The aliens? I don't think that excuse is going to work this time, buddy.
No, these design fails are pure human error. They happened because some guy messed up their job. Isn't that the most human thing we can do, after all? Mess up at our jobs? We've been doing it for centuries and we're definitely not going to stop now. The best thing we can do is laugh at it. Laugh at our mistakes, and take them for what they are: opportunities to make memes. And, um, learn from our mistakes I guess.
