It's boating season, ladies and gentlemen. You know the drill - it's that time of year when if you don't have a boat, you suddenly become best friends with those mutual friends who do, or if you do own a boat, you're constantly bombarded with random people trying to get invited out for a ride. Everyone wants to be on the water in the summer. It's hot, everyone is outside, and who could resist a thrilling round of tubing, with the driver letting out their true feelings on the brave souls bracing for their lives as they are towed behind a high-speed boat, hanging on by only a rope? Oh, the joys of summer. My personal favorite part of boating is reading all the clever boat names. It's like the ultimate dad joke competition to see who can have the punniest phrase painted on the back of their boat. Then there's the classic boaters' wave. As soon as you step on a boat, the peer pressure is real to wave at every passing boat and its passengers. So, may you squeeze in as many boating trips as you can this season, whether you're a seasoned boater or just hopping on the bandwagon.
