Midwest snacks are top-tier. Whether you call them muddy buddies, puppy chow, or some secret third thing, those little Chex pieces covered in chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar… those hit hard. Especially if they're lingering around at a church potluck. Something about the setting. Dots Pretzels are another Midwest-born and bred hit. Though they might seem like normal pretzel twists, something in their spice blend renders them utterly special. Ok but don't get me started on the cheese ball, or any such variation. Throw any kind of soft cheese together, roll it in something salty and delicious like pecans, and you have the perfect centerpiece for a holiday spread.
